Gabe's First Fathers and Sons Campout

I have been waiting for this for years! After going to the annual fathers and sons campout as a third wheel for so long (and after getting permission from Lana), I finally got to go with my own son. Gabe loved it, when he was awake at least. He really enjoys being outside looking at everything around him and especially staring up at the sky. So far we have the record for youngest at the event being just 2 days under 2 months. We should get a trophy or something!

8 Weeks

Gabe is now 8 weeks old and has been entertaining us with some actual smiles here and there. He seems to know what a camera is though, so when he sees it he promptly stops smiling, but occassionally he'll tease us with one of these grins. It's almost like he knows more than we think or something.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Is this kid good or what, he already remembers my birthday, got me a gift and made me a card! He was so excited he only had time to put his bib on.

Gabe & Cousin Ethan

We thought that Gabe's neighbor Joe was going to be his bodyguard, but it looks like he will have to just fill in when Cousin Ethan isn't around. This guy is huge at only 5 months!

Gabe came to the weekly mountain bike races with us where all of the excitement along with his snuggly blanket and custom fit beanie cap (thanks Sandy) put him right to sleep.

We were starting to worry that you all might think that Gabe is all smiles so we thought it would be good to show that he has his moments just like most of us do. But, we still think that he is adorable even when he is crying :-)
