So, did my parents ever confess that they bought my Halloween costume last year, long before they even knew about me? And so here I am, all decked out, and cute as a bug - literally!

I think I'm excited to be a caterpillar.

Oh yeah, I think I like Halloween. I get to pick out all these shiny, coloful things. Now if only I could eat them!

Forever a family

Nine years ago Mark and I were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. This same temple was the setting for another very special occasion for us when we had the wonderful opportunity to seal Gabe to us, becoming a larger eternal family on October 20.

On Tuesday, October 18 Gabe Nelson officially became our little boy as the courts finalized our adoption. This was a long-awaited day for us and we are so thrilled to have the process complete. Of course, we never felt like we needed a court to determine if Gabe was meant to be with us. We've felt like he's been with us from the very beginning.

Just about every October the entire Nelson family takes a vacation to Disneyland. We were so happy this time to experience Disneyland with our own little boy! Gabe had a great time!

6 Months!
